If you have your information stored locally (i.e. you do not have Backup & Sync authorized), your accounts and passwords can get deleted if you clear your browser cache. DO NOT CLEAR YOUR CACHE, unless you are OK with having your accounts & passwords removed.
If you lose your accounts due to a cache reset, the only way to recover this information is if you have a previous export of your data or if the data is available on another device.
