How can I turn off the Password Manager?

Step-by-Step instructions to turn off the Password Manager feature to prevent IronVest from autofilling and saving your logins and passwords. This is useful if you already have another Password Manager.

For the new Chrome extension:

  1. Go to your IronVest Settings page: https://ironvest.com/app/settings

  2. Click the "Extension" section

  1. Toggle OFF: Password manager panel, Auto-save account, Auto-Fill Last Used Account, and Save Cards.

For Firefox and older versions of the extension:

  1. Click the IronVest icon on your browser's toolbar

  1. Click 'Settings Panel'

  1. Click 'Settings' at the bottom.

  1. Click 'Settings for All Sites'

  1. Toggle OFF: 'Account Saving', 'Account auto-fill', and 'Suggest strong passwords'

  2. Refresh the page.

📌 Note: These features are independent of one another. You can individually turn off Account Saving, Account auto-fill, and any others depending on what suits you best.
